It is very important that women who are engaged in a relationship be equipped with the so-called sex etiquette. Sex etiquette is especially very important to first-timers. I don’t mean first-timers as in first-time to get into bed and indulge into sex, but what I mean is for lovers who will share the night in bed together for the very first time.

Sex etiquette does not only mean being good - mannered in bed. Sex etiquette also leads to a better relationship between partners, not just sexually but for the whole relationship in general.

First thing first, it is important that you bring up the most important issues before you go to bed with your partner. Things like, my place or your place? Place must be set beforehand. It is important too to always bring up issues about protection or birth control. It is always safe to be responsible, unless you want to get pregnant. You should also know the easiest way to suggest a bath before sex, and the right timing on when to say it.

Things like wearing what you feel is sexy are also a part of sex etiquette. Do not think of what your partner will think about what you are wearing but being comfortable with what you wear will make you perform well, that is sexier. And your partner will love it. Another sex etiquette norm concerns the noise that you make while having sex with him. If you feel like creating a sound, like “I love that!” Or “Do that again!” Its okay, it also makes effect in other ways to your partner. But never laugh, whatever odd expression or awkward sound he makes. It will only create an insult to your partner. And lastly, never comment on what he is doing especially if it is your first time doing it. You will only hurt your partner’s ego and will only cause confusion to your partner.

Sex etiquette is never taught in school, or neither by our elders. Our mothers never dare relating their sex etiquette on us. But sex etiquette has to be learned by all of us, either men or women. It’s like mastering sex in all aspects. Nowadays, where women seems to dominate, sex etiquette should also be her guiding tool in keeping the perfect man he wish to be with forever. Sex etiquette is like a magic tool or a secret spell that will makes it easier for us to keep our men in our hands. Sex etiquette should be mastered and become an instinct for us ladies, for our relationship to work. I am not saying that sex is everything that matters in a relationship, but it is a factor and a rocket fuel for healthy and meaningful relationships. Sex etiquette is easy, you don’t need a masteral’s degree just to understand it. Sex etiquette can be learned easily, not by constant practice but keeping a list of pointers on sex etiquette. When time come that you finally decided to give yourself to him, be sure to give your sex etiquette list a quick scan.
